Now with a busy baby boy- going out as a family isn't always the best option. We mostly opt for evenings in which is better for baby, for our nerves, and for our budget. Our cooking together time is now, me in the kitchen, Jonas in the high chair
We are still trying to find a good balance of having enough time to connect. We love our date nights. We have been stuck on going to sushi lately- which can get pricey pretty quick. We are trying to be creative on future date nights- keeping the cost low but the adventure high. To keep costs low this week, we decided to have dessert at Costco ;) and picked up a few things on our shopping list. As we walked around sharing a giant cone of Gelato (only $1.50!!! go get some!!) Kevin said- "We have finally made it to the stage in our lives where Costco is a date night". But you know what? I love it, I love our new lives. I love our little baby and the way our life has changed. I love that love is constant and I love the adventure of finding new ways to connect and grow as a family of 3.
I know there are so many creative date night ideas out there. Would love to hear your idea for a date on the cheap.
